The Last Command (sh. Posljednja zapovijed) je američki crno-bijeli nijemi film snimljen 1928. u režiji Josefa von Sternberga. Po žanru je melodrama, a protagonist, koga tumači Emil Jannings, je bivši ruski carski oficir koji u Hollywoodu pokušava zaraditi za život kao statist u historijskim filmovima. Radnja kroz flashbackove pokazuje kako je prije deset godina, za vrijeme postrevolucionarnog građanskog rata, kao general bijele vojske odlučivao o sudbini dvoje glumaca optuženih za špijunažu u korist boljševika. Prema Ernstu Lubitschu, inspiraciju za film je dao stvarni ruski carski general po imenu Theodore A. Lodigensky, koji je u emigraciji bio prisiljen raditi slabo plaćene poslove. Janningsu je ovo bila jedna od najpoznatijih i najuspješnijih uloga u karijeri, a za nju, kao i za nastup u The Way of All Flesh prethodne godine, je nagrađen prvim Oscarom za najboljeg glumca.
