Ftiotida[1] (grezieraz: Φθιώτιδα, Fthiótidha; antzinako grezieraz: Φθιώτις, Phthiôtis) Greziako prefektura bat da. Bere hiriburua Lamia da, Ftiotida hiri handi bakarra, merkataritzagune eta komunikaziogune bat dena. Bere ekonomia, nagusiki, nekazaritzan oinarritzen da: batez ere arroza, kotoia eta laboreak ereiten dira. Esperkeo ibaiak zeharkatzen du.



Historia |


Ftiotida Antzinako Greziako eskualde bat zen, Tesalia hegoekialdean zegoena, Maliar Golkoaren hondoan. Homeroren arabera, bere hiriburua Ftia hiria zen, hiri honen hondakinik aurkitu ez delarik.


Mirmidoiak bertan bizi zirela, Peleo, honen seme Akiles eta biloba Neoptolemoren erresuma izan zen. Ondoren, akaiatarrena izan zen.
