I had a brief call today saying my job offer is being rescinded due to unsatisfactory screening.
From what I was told - they were not able to confirm my employment with one company, the date of my experience was 2016-2017 instead of 2015-16, and one of my experiences on my CV was off by a month.
The company they could not verify with was a small business which is now closed. I explained this to the third party which was carrying out the background check. They have left that as unverified. However, I have offered the contact details of the person who used to own the business as well as some of the clients I worked for during my employment.
I also had a CCJ which I did not declare - its very recent and I did not declare it because I submitted a N244 form to dispute it. I did not think disputed matters would be on my record - my error! The company were okay with this clarification but the employment 'discrepancies' above made them rescind my offer.
Is there any thing I can do on the call tomorrow to clarify the misunderstanding?
Purpose for the call - a person from HR told me that they and the manager of the team I was going to join would be on the call. I was told the offer was being rescinded and they gave me some details about why.

Assuming you are calling to try and get your original offer back on the table; dont. It looks desperate and like @DarkCygnus said, learn from your mistakes and fix your dates.

CCJ and N244 appear to be UK terms for a county court judgement and a form to dispute the debt. If that's correct, it would be useful to update the question to spell that information out.

You say the offer is already rescinded, so I don't see the point in having this call to "discuss" (if anything, explain that you left it out because you ignored it was also required, as you explained to us here).
The best you can do is to learn from this, so next time you include all relevant and pertaining information for your application processes.
I would also start looking ASAP for new internship opportunities, and continue pursuing the other options you had besides this one.
I don't see why a phone call would be offered/accepted on their side if nobody had anything to gain from it. The OP may have another shot or specific advice on what to fix so the problem doesn't happen again.

@Myles that's why I asked OP to clarify the nature of this call, so we can give a better, more contextual answer (besides, I also suggested to explain to them the reasons why OP left it out, as explained in the question)
