I work with someone who has full blown Narcissist Personality Disorder. Trust me, I know this after working with her over a decade. Highly manipulative, controlling, brainwashing, sneaky, etc. She has been sabotaging me for way too long.

There are 45 employees at my workplace. IT uses the free version of Trend Micro and an outdated version of MS Office, if that tells you anything about how they cut corners.

Now our IT guy isn't really one. He has limited knowledge, he does enough to get by, and didn't take me seriously when I reported the possibility of a keylogger to him. When I asked how often he changes his password, he said not often.

In earlier years, after red flags began popping up, I caught psycho several times watching my keyboard as I logged into my computer (that I have to share with her because she covers the reception desk during my lunch). I'm sure that she installed a keylogger on my computer after a series of comments she made in 2015 related directly to what I had typed. In retrospect, I believe much longer.

Over many years, psycho goes through periods of constantly paging IT guy through the day, as if she's having constant issues. Once I commented, "Wow sounds like she needs a new computer", fearing what I knew he would say: "I can't find anything wrong with it".

But, again, he's not an expert. But I believe she keeps calling him back and watching him log in until she figures out the password. And I doubt he hides it from her, because he doesn't pay attention to where I'm standing when he's on my computer.

The thing about those with NPD and sociopaths is they must have all the info they can get about everyone and everything. It's their m.o. It's how they gain control and sabotage. They are notorious for putting KLs on devices of "loved" ones, recording conversations, spying, and convincing others to spy. So this is right up her alley.

Two weeks ago I emailed a private concern about 2 coworkers to their boss using my work email account, but from my cell. We use Outlook, but we access email via Gmail outside of work. I deleted all evidence in my folders.

Last week, one of the coworkers started ignoring me. The other coworker has made 4 friendly passive-aggressive comments to me, or around me, alluding to me being in his business. The boss assured me he did not talk to anyone about it who could've overheard it. I believe him.

I don't know if she would chance it. BUT she knows the IT guy is useless. She knows HR will defend her no matter what (that's a whole nother story). She's not that smart, but she's an evil genius. And she could easily have gotten one of her brainwashed flying monkeys to help. They do a lot for her.

So how likely is it that a person can do this successfully? If she has ITs net admin password, is she able to install a keylogger on various computers from her computer? Or, God forbid, mine? I'm assuming she would only be concerned about emails and not EVERYTHING people do. I'm very worried she has accessed HR records this way.

Before you comment, I have numerous (weak) reasons why I didn't let leave long ago. I'm planning to in a few months. But I need reassuring closure in this area if possible. If I could catch her first, it would be so sweet.

Thanks so much!
