I have 2-3 years of experience in software engineering. Currently I am pursuing my higher studies and have an internship offer at a good company. They have two kinds of projects:
a. Software engineering related
b. Machine learning related.
The chances of getting a full-time offer in option 'a' are higher than in option 'b'. My passion is option 'b'. One of the reasons of opting for higher studies was so that I could get a machine learning related job. But the job market of getting a job in option 'b' is tough.
My questions is:
If given a choice during the internship, should I choose a software engineering project or a machine learning project?
