Are there any accesible online databases where I can download the past TLEs of satellites? For example the TLE of the ISS for January 4th 2003.
People have missidentified regular satellite observations, and in particular the ISS, with UFO sightings and I would like to have ways to assess which satellite was involved in each case by knowing the date of the event and looking for matches with the description of the event. But I certainly think there are many other uses for this data besides debunking UFO theories and some databases have to be there somewhere.

@CamilleGoudeseune add the two-line-elements tag, and possibly consider remove the orbital-elements tag as well?

I've just discovered that in the "Retrieve TLE Data by Satellite Catalog Number" section of www.space-track.org you can indeed retrieve TLEs and 3LEs for any date range you want for any satellite or orbital debris in the database (there are around 44000 of them).
The only dissadvantage is that you have to register but it is free and not very time-consuming.
Sorry for asking a question that I could have avoided by doing the previous hour of research, but I will let this thrive since maybe someone finds it helpful in the future.

You might consider adding a link to this answer as well. It looks like their web pages have "gone dark" (changed to a darker background) but I don't know if they've changed the interface itself.
